The ownership of said dog is retained by the Breeder and will be transferred to the Guardian at the completion of this contract.The Guardian Dog will enter the breeding program the first heat cycle after they have reached 2 years of age and bred for a maximum amount of 4 successful breeds. Safely confine dog by the use of a physical fence or leash while outside.2. Dog is never to be tethered and left outside on their own.3. Provide housebreaking by the age of 9 months.4. Keep dog accustomed to periods of time in the crate daily, either sleeping or resting.5. Provide adequate exercise daily, not allowing dog to become overweight as decided by the Breeder in order to protect hips from dysplasia.6. Provide basic obedience training and keep well socialized with other animals and people.7. Dog is to learn not to dash out of the door or jump on people.8. Dog is to be fed strictly TLC puppy/adult food and treats.9. Provide vet care as needed (not breeding related): internal and external parasite prevention, vaccinations, etc.10. Provide grooming needs and not allow matting of the coat.11. Provide updated pictures.12. Deliver the dog to the Breeder or meet the Breeder upon request within a 24-hour notice for breeding, testing, etc. (Unless prior arrangements have been made for the Breeder to pick dog up at residence.)13. Contact Breeder immediately in the event of serious illness or accident including severe diarrhea, loss of appetite, vomiting, etc.14. Notify Breeder of any absences or vacation out of the local area in advance and give contact information of the dogs caretaker during Guardians absence. Dog is never to be placed in a boarding facility at any time. The Guardian has the option for the Dog to stay with the Breeder at no charge while out of town.15. Send a copy of all vet records to the Breeder.16. While Dog is in heat, keep her safely away from all intact males.17. Guardian is to provide a current copy of their drivers license, contact number, and home address. Should the Guardian move or change numbers, the Guardian is to provide updated details to the Breeder within 24 hours.Should the dog die of natural or accidental causes while in the possession of the Guardian, this agreement shall terminate. Should the dog die while in the Breeders possession, this contract shall terminate. Should the Guardian be deemed “at fault” for the death of the dog, then the Guardian will be responsible to pay $3000 to replace said dog.Should the dog die of natural or accidental causes while in the possession of the Guardian, this agreement shall terminate.
